I get busy doing things like this, which takes away from my blogging.
It's hard work slacking, but someone's gotta do it.
But, I swear -- I will post about The Kid Thing soon. Very soon.

"The Kid Thing??" Huh?
"The Kid Thing" refers to me and my attitude about having kids. And the flak you get as a newlywed about having kids.
I could have sworn I posted a comment but blogger must have eaten it. I'll try again.
"The Kid Thing"?? Huh? Is there news?
Weird. Blogger barfed up my earlier comment AND a response from you - none of which I saw as recently as 10 minutes ago.
And OK, I get it. Lucky you aren't Philipino. We went to the weddings of 3 of C.'s Phillipino friends last year and the older generation starts putting pressure for grandkids at the reception. Sheesh! They even pray for a quick pregancy during the service. Makes the genereation getting married a bit nervous. Of course, all 3 have had babies this summer, so maybe they couldn't take the pressure!
